North Oakland County Lakes
North Oakland County, MI is home to some of the most picturesque lakes in the state, making it a highly desirable destination for those seeking waterfront living. Individual lake homes tend to be quite unique, making one lake very different than the lake down the road or in the next township. So for accuracy I divided my data and area info by North Oakland covering Waterford and Clarkston and a separate area for Orion, Oxford, Addison/Leonard and Oakland township. Then I will break it down by individual lake and they will be linked below.
Waterford/Clarkston
Waterford Township proudly carries the title of the "Lakeland Paradise," boasting over 30 named lakes within its boundaries. Some of the most notable lakes include:
- Lake Oakland/Woodhull Lake- A favorite among boaters, featuring a mix of residential properties and a public boat launch
- Maceday/Lotus Lake- Interconnected lakes that offer a mix of private and public access, perfect for a variety of water activities

The northern part of North Oakland County is home to numerous lakes that provide excellent recreational opportunities and picturesque living environments. Some of the most notable lakes in the region include:

- Lakeville Lake- One of the largest lakes in the area at around 460 acres, featuring deep waters and a mix of private residences and public access points.
